The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle represents the evolution in Kawasaki Heavy Industries open-class sportbike development. Originally released for the 2004 model year, the ZX-10R Superbike is the successor to the Ninja ZX-9R sportbike. Since inception, the Ninja ZX-10R has received two major overhauls. What makes this bike special is the fact that it is a derivative of the ZX-10R used by the Kawasaki racing team, for their Superbike FIM World Championship, which gives it all the ingredients to make it one hell of a bike. Key features on the aluminum-frame 2015 ZX-10R ABS include an Öhlins-Kawasaki electronic steering damper; three-spoke cast aluminum wheels; Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC); Advanced Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System (supplied by Bosch); a Power Mode selector; a Big-Piston Fork; a slipper clutch (to prevent wheel hop under extreme deceleration); a titanium exhaust; race-oriented LCD instrumentation; and footpegs that can be lowered an additional 15mm for street riding our touring. The ZX-10R is as extreme as a litre class bike gets. With 197bhp on tap, the performance is exhilarating. But with all the electronic safety system on board, rest assured the Ninja is forgiving as well. A sticker price of Rs 15.7 lakh is not exactly cheap. But it's money well spent. Read More
