Hero Duet - Excellent City Rider But Not For Longe
This is my first review after driving the scooter for 6000 kms. Hero has certainly up the ante against Honda with the launch of its new Duet scooter. The bike no doubt addresses the need of daily goers quite effectively with its remarkable feature list and mileage of 45-50 kmpl, good enough for driving in city. What impressed me the most is the metal body design and digital analog meter that gives the essential info on the go. The scooter ride quite comfortably with an 110cc engine and my grandma who feels comfortable on scooters, never complained about this. But I have taken the scooter for long distance as well, and to my personal liking, it lags that needed punch on the highways. So seriously, if you are looking for this scooter to go for longer rides, I would not recommend this one. Rest everything works like a charm in this two-wheeler.
The scooter in my opinion truly sticks to its slogan, ‘India ki nayi ummeed’.
