Yamaha Alpha was expected to be a big hit because of its company’s name. The leader of sports bikes in India, tried its hand in gearless scooters but could not do a big impact on the Indian two-wheeler market. I used to have a bike but I was getting frustrated riding it daily in heavy traffic of Bengaluru. Due to bad traffic conditions and increasing fuel expenses, I decided to go for a gearless scooter which is not too heavy and can be handled easily in heavy traffic and can be switched on and off easily with the electric start. I got completely exhausted till I reached home, now I am going for my daily commute on my scooter. When it comes to gearless scooters in India, Honda is the first name that comes to mind. But having owned a Yamaha motorcycle, I decided to buy Alpha as I was expecting it to perform great like Yamaha bikes.Read More
