#TokyoMotorShow: Yamaha and its three Innovations

Yamaha MWT-9

Yamaha has come up with its three vehicles at the #TokyoMotorShow, MWT-9, Resonator125 and NMAX 125. The two concept bikes, Yamaha MWT-9 and Resonator125 have already started creating a buzz from the time their pictures came up.

The Yamaha MWT-9 is a bike with twin front wheels to make risky rides easy on twisted roads. The machine carries liquid cooled, inline 3-cylinder 850 cc fuel-injected with DOHC seated inside the bulky vehicle. The bike is totally a new concept taking sports segment on a whole new level. Stated as Leaning Multi Wheel (LMW), Yamaha MWT-9 is developed under a ‘Cornering Master’ concept.

Resonator125

Another concept that has been in talks is Yamaha Resonator125. Carrying a sporty look, the bike is a perfect example of sport plus convenience. The Resonator125 holds an air-cooled, single-cylinder 125cc 4-stroke engine along with fuel injection system. The heritage look involved with next gen technology will make it a true warrior on streets. The bike is a treat for the one who have missed the joy of motorcycling on Yamaha’s low displacement bikes. Engine type = Air-cooled, 4-stroke Cylinder arrangement = Single cylinder Displacement = 125 cm3 Fuel supply system = Fuel injection

NMAX125

The new Yamaha NMAX 125 made its debut at #TokyoMotorShow today. Featuring the same engine as earlier MAX model, the upgrade which has been done in technology is ‘Blue Core’. The NMAX 125 is specified with 124 cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine with SOHC and weighs 127 kg. With a power of 4-valves and fuel injection system, the scooter is mated with V-belt automatic transmission. Designed on the same range of Yamaha MAX scooter, the NMAX 125 is manufactured in Indonesia and is exported in ASEAN markets and few developed countries.
