The motorcycle is based on the Pulsar P150 and gets similar bodywork as the Pulsar N160

Bajaj has launched the Pulsar N150 with a price tag of Rs 1,17,734 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). Based on the Pulsar P150, it is Rs 979 more expensive than the P150’s Single Disc variant. Additionally, it gets design elements from the Pulsar N160.

Powering the Pulsar N150 is the same 149.68cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine found in the Pulsar P150. It produces 14.5PS of power and 13.5Nm of torque is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension system is the same as that of the Pulsar P150, consisting of a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The N150 gets the 260mm front disc brake from the Pulsar P150 and comes with a 130mm rear drum unit equipped with single-channel ABS as standard. The tyre configuration includes a 90/90-17 front tyre and a 120/80-17 rear tyre. It gets the Pulsar P150’s wheelbase of 1,352mm, seat height of 790mm, and a ground clearance of 165mm. However, it is slightly heavier, weighing in at 145kg, which is 5kg more than the P150.

The design philosophy of the Pulsar N160 has been carried over to the N150. This is evident in its aggressive LED projector headlight, sleek tank design with extensions, and sleek rear panel and rear fender. These design elements contribute to the N150's sharp and sporty appearance. Furthermore, it shares design cues with the P150, including the alloy wheel design and a single-piece seat and handlebar, similar to the Single Disc variant of the P150. An interesting difference from the P150 is the N150's single-piece grab rail.

Bajaj has a reputation for using common components across its bike lineup, and the Pulsar N150 is no exception. It is based on the Pulsar P150 while borrowing cosmetic elements from the N160. With the 150cc streetfighter segment previously dominated by the Yamaha FZ S V3, Bajaj's introduction of the new Pulsar N150 marks its entry into this competitive space, allowing them to seize a slice of the market previously held by their competitor.
