Yamaha Alpha Designing

Yamaha Alpha Designing

Yamaha Alpha is a family scooter built for an extreme comfort of a small family. This scooter has enough space to give decent space for the tall riders. The seat height is quite good and with the straight handlebars, the seating is also designed perfectly. The overall dimensions of the scooter enhance its credibility when it comes to handling and controlling. The suspensions equipped to it works fine and stabilizes the overall ride of the machine. The sharp and curvy design of the scoot looks amazing and with its attractive color scheme, it looks more appealing and enticing. The simple and sober headlight design is a bit old style but looks still impressive on this scoot. The front panel of the machine is designed quite elegantly, the indicators look smart and bright. The seat of the scoot is claimed to be very comfortable for both the passengers.

Long and strong chrome grab rail is also equipped for the pillion-rider's safety. The storage seat of the scooter is about 21 liters that is enough to store a full size helmet along with some other important articles. The foot board is a part of the black given to the machine and a large space is their for the rider to carry along some vegetable bags or school bags of children. To keep the bags in place the manufacturer has also fitted hooks that enhance the convenience of the rider. The instrumentation of the scooter is pretty basic; easy to read analog console. It displays speedometer, odometer and fuel level. When it comes to durability of the scooter, the manufacturer has kept his faith on the steel pipe underbone frame, that is strong and improves stability. Appearance of the scooter is as strong as its designing and the main thing that makes it look more catchy is its chrome alloys, strong black theme that covers muffler and interiors of the scooter.

Yamaha Alpha Engine And Performance

Yamaha has always been a smart engine maker, one of its example is its mini-super-bike R15 that has a small 150cc engine but produces a maximum power of 17bhp. By putting its efforts together for this scooter, they have created an intelligent Air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder engine that has the displacement of 113cc. The engine has been tuned to crank out a superior power of 7.1Ps at an acceleration of 7500rpm while generating a peak torque of 8.1Nm at 5000rpm. The engine output is quite low but it results in better fuel efficiency. The claimed mileage of the scooter by the company is 62Kmpl which is highly competitive and worth for a 110cc scooter. With the V-belt automatic transmission, the scooter's performance is brilliant. For the ride to be more enthralling and sound, the scooter maker has provided it with a 5.2 liter large fuel tank capacity. However, its competitors boast a bigger fuel tank of about 6-liters.

Yamaha Alpha Braking And Handling

Yamaha Alpha is a grand scooter for this category, it has elegant appearance, healthy specifications and class aura. The scooter has been coupled with the Telescopic forks at the front and Unit swing at the rear that makes the suspension system sound and ascends the stability and control of the rider. The proper riding style with the fine dimensions not only makes it easy to ride but also gives more confidence to the rider to master it. The 90/100-10 (53J) tyres loaded at both ends of the scooter and are equipped with drum brakes for substantial braking. As the scooter is a 110cc one, it is not imparted with a disc brake, however other makers in the same category are providing the same at the front wheel for enhanced safety of the rider. Low weight of 104kg helps the rider to handle the scooter in uncertain conditions. For females also, it is easy to ride and handle thanks to its light weight.

Yamaha Alpha Safety Features

Yamaha Alpha comes with bright headlights that helps the rider to safely carry on his journey at nights. The braking of the scooter is fine but responsiveness can be enhanced with the allocation of a front disc brake.
