Triumph offered their two sport bikes in India christened as Triumph Daytona 675R and Triumph Daytona 675 ABS. The bikes are meant to fulfill demands of the youth who were craving for a decent 600-700cc package.

The bikes are powered by a 675cc, liquid-cooled, four stroke engine mated to a six-speed transmission system. The mill churns out a maximum power of 116.88 bhp at 12,304rpm with a net torque of 70.18NM at 9900rpm. Multipoint sequential fuel injection system with twin injectors ensure butter smooth performance with crisp throttle response.

The bikes come equipped with 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tyres with stylish black alloy wheels. Their suspension system includes Ohlins 43mm upside down NIX30 forks at the front and Ohlins TTX36 twin tube monoshock at the rear. The braking duties are carried out by twin 310mm floating discs with 4-piston calliper at the front and 220mm single disc with Brembo single piston calliper at the rear, coupled with switchable Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS).

The bikes come with handsome twin sporty headlamps and clear visor, which styles the bike with a supersport image. Both bikes come loaded with LCD multi-functional instrument pack including digital speedometer, fuel gauge, trip computer, analogue tachometer, lap timer, gear position indicator, programmable gear change lights, clock, coded key immobiliser, TPMS ready and switchable ABS. In addition, the R version also includes carbon fibre cockpit infills, rear hugger, front mudguard and quickshifter as standard.

Triumph Daytona 675R comes with an extra feature than Daytona 675 ABS. The difference being the employment of a Quickshifter in Daytona 675R. The bike got this mechanism from the race tracks, which enables easy and smooth gear shifting without the involvement of clutch. Other standard features in both bikes include a switchable ABS, a slip-assist clutch to reduce force at the clutch lever and to prevent losing of revs in case of aggressive downshifts. The bikes also features removable rear number plate and indicators so that the bike can be taken out for racing track experience. Programmable rev lights are deployed, which lets the rider choose his own set of rev range as to when the lights should come ON asking for a gear shift. The bikes come with an advanced safety option as key code immobiliser. The bike also features an optional TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), which monitors the tyre pressure and notifies the rider.
