I have been using Bajaj Platina 100 Comfortec for the past 20 months. The experience I felt is below the expectation based on the advertisement, it is totally a fake marketing strategy. Since I was looking for the better mileage for single use into the city, I bought this bike and driven around 17778 KMS till now. About mileage, in the beginning, it gave 70 KMPL mileage and expected was 70 - 95 KMPL but getting only 55 - 60 KMPL. The advertisement says 70 - 95/104 KMPL and showroom people say about 80 - 90 KMPL in the city, but it’s not true. The battery was gone, brakes are gone, I took it to the service center for better mileage and replaced the spark plug 3 times as I observed black smoke in silencer. All this happened within a year which is disappointing. I have been to the service center for the mileage issue but the servicemen said, we checked the issue and mileage will be only 60 KMPL into the city. If you ride long outside the city, then you will get 70 KMPL. Before buying the vehicle, they said with confidence that mileage will be 75 KMPL into the city. After buying the results are different. Now I am planning to buy a new bike for the better mileage since I am completely disappointed with this bike.Read More
