The TVS Star City Plus, a common choice of commuter motorcycle in India, bursts with outstanding fuel economy, as it claimed to give 83.4 kmpl on the bike docket board. Its riding position is comfortable, it’s affordable, stylish, and ultra-reliable, which makes the bike popular with budget riders. But, with a small 110-cc engine giving out only 8.08 bhp, it does not give enough power for thrill-seekers to like this ride better. The lack of some features, such as the absence of a kickstarter, digital instrument cluster, and rear disc brake, may frustrate expectant riders seeking more modern amenities. Furthermore, high-speed handling is not its strongest point. In general, it is a reliable, cheap, fuel-efficient vehicle for everyday needs.
