Oben EV, a Bengaluru-based EV startup, is set to launch its debut electric motorcycle, the Rorr, tomorrow. The Oben Rorr adds to India's previously niche electric motorcycle segment that is slowly yet steadily growing. The deliveries of the e-bike are expected to start by April this year. Additionally, the company plans to launch a troika of new electric two-wheelers within the next two years.
A digital render of the electric bike released earlier reveals a minimalistic, neo-retro design, further accentuated by the circular LED headlight set up.
Oben EV has yet to disclose the specifications of the bike; however, the company claims an ideal-world range of 200km, which is more than the Tork Kratos' near 180km of IDC range. We also know that the upcoming electric motorcycle will feature a mid-mounted motor with a final belt drive.

The Oben Rorr packs a digital LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and IoT-based features.
The e-bike is expected to be priced at Rs 1.20 lakh and will rival the Tork Kratos (Rs 1.32 lakh) and the Revolt RV400 (Rs 1.24 lakh), ex-showroom, without subsidies.
