There are strong reports that Bajaj might plan to remove the Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i very soon from the Indian bike market. Although the news is not confirmed, but the company has identified a new technology and the style appeal that pulsar offers will be available in all Pulsars. This has given an indication that the Pulsar 180 might be removed altogether from the market. It is also being reported that the Bajaj Pulsar 150 will be colored in the new 'Pulsarism'. However, it needs to be identified how the company will project its bikes in the market. The Pulsar 135 LS is not likely to be modified much and hence it will be the base of the Pulsar segment of the company. The price of the pulsar 135 LS will be somewhere around Rs. 60,000. Further, the modified Pulsar 150 would be priced somewhere around Rs. 70,000. It is the best selling model in the pulsar segment.

Bajaj New Pulsar 180cc DTSi

As long as the Pulsar 220 DTS-i continues to be sold in the market, it would be be sold unchanged at a price of around Rs. 85,000. This bike which would be continued for around 6 months more was once the fastest bike in the Indian market at the time of its launch. To follow these bikes will be the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS which is expected to be introduced soon. A faired variant of this bike is also anticipated in the near future. Further, there are chances that the Avenger and the Cruiser would be sold without modifications till the Pulsar series gets a firm grip of the market again. Some of the questions that the company would now face are after the introduction of Pulsar 200 Ns how long will the Pulsar 220 be continued. Further, why is Bajaj not using its F1 technology and will the bikes from pulsar be able to sustain in the market if sold for a price of Rs. 1 lakh.
