Hero Maestro Edge – Ticks All The Right Boxes

Hi friends, this is my review after driving Hero Maestro Edge for over 5,000 kms. It would not be an exaggeration to call this scooter a stupendous success since it was the first completely in-house developed product launched after the separation of Hero from Honda. The looks of the scooter is a blend of style and muscularity with a dash of aggression. The handsome side profile can bring a smile to anyone’s face. The analog-digital instrument cluster, premium looking switches and LED tail lamps, all adds to the overall appeal. The engine seems refined to my liking with decent performance and pick-up. The way the suspension set-up works is quite impressive. Though Hero claims it gives 65 kmpl but this is too high (on paper of course), in the real world it gave me around 50 kmpl in cities and around 58 kmpl on highways which is not that bad either. In this heated competitive market, Hero has brought all to the table what others are offering in the same league.
