Bajaj on the Path of Expansion

With an objective of expanding its network  in the global market and to increase its stake in the total exports the legendary two wheeler company Bajau Auto Ltd is speculating to establish its exclusive outlets in the neighbouring countries. Neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are the major countries in which the company speculates to establish the outlets of its premium bikes – Probiking. According to Mr. Eric Vas, President New Project, Bajaj Auto Ltd., Bajaj already holds the facility of Probiking in Nepal at small scale. In the words of Mr. Vas, as the part of its expansion plans company feels vast marketing opportunities in the two wheeler market of countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan and explore these opportunities company is intensively speculating on all the possible options.

At present 32 Probiking outlets are being operated by Bajaj Auto Ltd  in 30 Indian cities and company speculates to establish atleast one dozen more Probiking outlets in other cities also. At present along with super bikes like Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Kawasaki Ninja 650R which are priced with price tag of Rs. 3 lakhs and Rs. 4.57 lakhs, the other bikes like Bajaj Pulsar 180 and Bajaj Pulsar 220  are also available in the Probiking outlets.

Apart from this couple of days back there was a news that Bajaj Auto Ltd is speculating to increase its stake in KTM Motors, the legendary Austrian Bike company. There are also rumours that Bajaj Auto Ltd and KTM Motors are speculating to launch KTM Duke Bike under joint venture in the International market. If rumours are believed to be true then the KTM Duke will be launched by the end of this year starting from the European market it can speculated that Bajaj Auto Ltd will start selling the KTM Duke bike in India through its Probiking Outlets.

With all these promotional strategies Bajaj is all set to emerge as a single crowned king of the two wheeler market in India.
