Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube Electric witness significant growth in sales, again
The monthly sales of the Bajaj Chetak And TVS iQube Electric have increased by a significant margin for two months in a row. The sales of the former have gone up by a substantial margin of 74.17%, while the latter has witnessed a growth of 26.15%.
Both the brands have been working on expanding their footprints in the country, which, further complemented by factors such as the rising fuel prices and increasing awareness about electric vehicles, has untimely resulted in excellent sales figures.
In related news, we have got hold of the type approval document of the upcoming Chetak which revealed that the e-scooter will be more powerful than before, but will employ a smaller capacity battery. TVS on the other hand has acquired a majority 75 percent stake in Swiss E-Mobility Group AG (SEMG), while the remaining 25% will be acquired next year.
