After launching its flagship- Ninja H2 in India, Kawasaki is planning to strengthen its entry and mid level segments. The company has already announced to launch three new motorcycles in the market within this year, and commence operations on their new showrooms too. Now, some reports are claiming that the company might launch Z250SL, Vulcan S and Ninja ZX-6R (636).

Kawasaki Z250SL is the entry-level machine from the stables of Japanese auto maker, which houses a new 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The fuel injected motor makes 27.6bhp of maximum power at 9,700rpm and a peak torque of 22.6Nm at 8,200rpm. Styling  of the motorcycle is much different than the existing parallel-twin powered Z250, however, it also keeps that wild feel. The bike gets trellis frame, 37mm front telescopic forks, unitrak rear suspension, light split-spoke alloys, dual disc brakes and many other premium features. And the best thing is that it will be the most affordable Kawasaki motorcycle after launch in India.

Kawasaki Vulcan S is a mid-weight performance cruiser with the same 649cc, parallel-twin engine, powering the existing ER-6n and Ninja 650. It delivers power upto 60.3bhp at 7,500rpm and torque upto 63Nm at just 6,600rpm. The bike is based on the ERGO-FIT concept, which allows you to adjust its seat, handlebar and foot-pegs to achieve a most affordable riding position. The bike features perimeter frame, 41mm front forks, lay-down offset rear shock absorber, uniquely designed 17” front and 16” rear alloys with 120/70 and 160/60 section tyres respectively, dual disc brakes, ABS and more. Price of the motorcycle in India is expected to be between Rs. 5 to 6 lacs. It will compete with the offerings like Harley-Davidson Street 750 and Hyosung GV650 (Aquila Pro).

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a mid-weight supersport motorcycle, which sports a high revving 636cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four cylinder engine. The short stroke motor churns out a massive power output upto 129.3bhp at 13,500rpm, while the torque curve goes upto 71Nm when engine revs at 11,500rpm. Design of the motorcycle is much similar to the litre-class track machine- Ninja ZX-10R. The bike comes with some high performance equipments including 41mm Showa inverted forks with adjustable spring preload, Uni-Trak gas-charged rear shock with 25-way adjustable rebound damping and fully adjustable spring preload, dual front and single rear disc brakes with KIBS ABS, high grip 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres and many more. The bike could be priced around Rs. 11 lakh in India and the only available competition here is Triumph Daytona.
