I have been a rider on the Bajaj Chetak for the past few days, and I can tell you, the electric scooter is quite impressive. The Chetak has a level of performance and reliability that many new electric bikes and scooters simply don’t have; it’s smooth and agile for getting through cities, and with its eco-friendly electric motor, it’s actually very quiet. The retro-modern design also helps the looks to deliver a bit of old-worldly charm, especially for those who have grown nostalgic for the original Chetak scooter, which of course Bajaj made its name on for much of the later half of the last century.
