Yamaha launched the XSR 155, a neo-retro roadster, in India. The bike is priced at Rs 1,49,990 (introductory, ex-showroom Delhi).

It has retro styling with a circular headlamp, sculpted fuel tank, and an exposed frame, inspired by the bigger Yamaha XSR700

The headlight cover costs Rs 3,610 and comes with ‘XSR’ branding at the centre. While it looks cool, it will not protect the headlight from debris like a proper mesh grill commonly used on scramblers
The Flyscreen is priced at Rs 3,290, and is more of an aesthetic accessory than a functional one
It also has rally race number plates on the sides. A pair will cost you Rs 4,320 - a bit steep for just an aesthetic fitment, we feel
The silver-coloured side panels, costing Rs 2,890, go well with the overall scrambler look of the bike
Lastly, the bike comes with inverted bar-end mirrors, priced at Rs 3,080. It looks nice, but in our opinion, it’s more appropriate for the Cafe Racer Kit
If you buy this kit as a package right now, you’ll need to shell out Rs 12,330. This will save you Rs 4,860 if you buy the parts individually.
