Alongside these, the brand also unveiled the new Simple Ultra, which is based on the Simple One Gen 2.
Unlike the Gen 2, the Ultra gets a larger 6.5kWh battery pack, offering a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of up to 400km, while accelerating from 0-40kmph in just 2.77 seconds.
Given this impressive range, Simple Energy also showcased a set of touring-focused accessories for the Ultra.
These include a tall, smoked windscreen with additional mounting brackets to improve stability and reduce wind blast during highway cruising.
The scooter also gets hard-shell saddle bags, finished in a glossy grey shade with a large GT logo on the sides.
While these saddle bags appear to be well-built, their compact size means storage space will be limited.
Additionally, the Ultra also gets a pillion backrest featuring soft padding, with ‘GT’ engraved on it.
Simple Energy has confirmed that the Simple Ultra will be launched soon, and the accessories pack could be called the GT pack, hence the GT branding. Read more about the Simple Ultra
