As the name suggests, the Square X125 gets a super-boxy design. That said, it’s nowhere near as boring, and we absolutely adore its looks.
Here’s what makes it special: there’s an optional side mounted ‘table’, which can simply be opened to keep your chai pakode!
Also gets a pillion seat that doubles up as a rider’s backrest. Once folded up, there’s a luggage rack underneath
A massive floorboard-mounted 5.7-litre fuel tank ensures a 335km claimed range. There’s a rack on top of the tank too
Claimed mileage of the 9.5PS, 10Nm 125cc motor is an impressive 59.17kmpl. Claimed top-speed: 88kmph
Gets all sorts of goodies: silent starter, start-stop tech, hazard lamps, colour-LCD console, remote key, 20W USB charging & even dual-channel ABS
Trail-friendly with 160mm ground clearance, 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloys with block-pattern tubeless tyres, telescopic fork + twin pre-load adjustable rear shocks
740mm seat height & 122kg kerb weight should make it accessible too
Costs 12,680 Yuan in China (equivalent to around Rs 1.61 lakh). Won’t be launched here, but you can take a look at India’s own ‘ADV scooter’, the Hero Xoom 160
