The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric was spotted testing recently, on its way to Leh.

Multiple bikes were spotted, looked pretty premium with clean body panels, adjustable suspension and all-LED lighting

The test mule gets a tall windscreen, sculpted ‘fuel tank’ (likely to house electrical components) and a long single-piece seat - looks aesthetic and is functional too

What’s interesting is that the bike’s charging port is located in its left side panel, as opposed to one usually mounted on top of the ‘fuel tank’ on most electric motorcycles

Wheels likely to be 21-inch front and 17-inch rear - SM Pro Platinum spoked wheels, wrapped in Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross tyres

Lithium-ion battery pack seems split into two halves - likely for better weight distribution and also better cooling. Expect around 200-250km range

The Himalayan Electric test mule gets inverted fork and an Öhlins monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable

It gets disc brakes at both ends with a Nissin calliper at the front and a Brembo unit at the rear.

The bike gets an all-LED lighting setup and a rally-inspired fully digital instrument console. It will come with a lot of offroad-focused riding aids too
