Livery pays tribute to legendary racer ‘King’ Kenny Roberts & his championship-winning YZR500 V4 two-stroke bike
Also celebrates Yamaha’s golden era of racing from the 1970s to the 1980s
The Legend Yellow scheme combines yellow & white with iconic black ‘Speedblock’ graphics
It sits atop Yamaha’s Sport Heritage range, blending retro style with modern tech
Powered by a 890cc, cross-plane, liquid-cooled, inline-triple engine making 119PS and 93Nm
Features include a full colour 5-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity and navigation
Gets fully adjustable KYB suspension, adjustable footpegs, and clip-on handlebars for a sportier feel
Also gets 5 riding modes, quickshifter, cornering ABS, and slide, wheelie, traction, cruise control
Other details include a Deltabox-style chassis, lightweight ‘Spinforged’ wheels, and Bridgestone Batllax S23 tyres
European deliveries begin in May 2026, showcase at EICMA in November as well
Unfortunately, it won’t be launched in India, but you can get the Yamaha R15 V4 in a cool 'Matte Pearl White' colour.
