Hero has launched their first sporty 125cc bike – The Xteme 125R – Here are its highlights:

Offered in two variants – The base variant with CBS at Rs 95,000 and ABS variant at Rs 99,500 (all prices ex-showroom delhi)

Comes with an aggressive design – Sharp tank extensions along with the angular side panels & a high-set tail section – makes the bike look very sporty

Powered by a new 125cc air-cooled single cylinder counterbalanced engine – Produces 11.55PS at 8250rpm

Claimed 0-60kmph acceleration in 5.9 seconds & has a claimed mileage of 66kmpl.

Built on a diamond frame – Gets a fat 37mm front fork & 7-step preload adjustable rear monoshock (Developed with Showa)

Gets a 120/80 section rear tyre – Fattest in the 125cc air-cooled segment.

CBS gets 240mm front disc whereas ABS one gets 276mm unit. Both variants get 130mm rear drum

Comes with full-LED lighting (segment first) and hazard light

Negative LED instrument console – Displays speed, fuel level, gear position and readouts like tachometer, odometer and tripmeters – Bluetooth connectivity for call/SMS alerts
