It is a more road-focused version of the standard Multistrada V4, and gets a slightly aggressive riding posture, along with light-weight and more performance centric parts.

In terms of looks, this variant gets more sportier graphics with the classic Ducati red paint scheme, and just like the top-spec V4 RS version, it also comes with a single-sided swingarm.

The Pikes Peak variant comes with the same 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine common for the Multistrada V4 lineup, making the same 170PS and 123.8Nm.

This engine has been made E-20 compliant for India and it also uses the cylinder deactivation technology that deactivates the rear half of the V4 motor at slower speeds.

It gets Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 electronic suspension, seen on the Panigale V4 S and Streetfighter V4 S models - it can automatically adjust based on the riding style and offers multiple damping settings.

It also comes with 17-inch, light-weight forged alloy wheels at both ends, running on Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres, 120-section at the front and 190-section at the rear.

Comes loaded with features like cornering ABS, wheelie control, traction control, adaptive cruise control, quickshifter and collision warning. Along with this Ducati has also given it an extra Race mode that improves throttle response, and minimises the intervention from rider aids.

Ducati has made small but important tweaks to the frame for better handling.

The Pikes Peak edition sits as a perfect option for people who want a high-performance ADV that can take you to the race track in a different city, have fun and come back home on the same motorcycle.
