Kawasaki Ninja gets overwhelming response in Karnataka

Kawasaki Ninja 250R, the first multi cylinder entry-level sports bike by Kawasaki, has been sold all over the country that accounts for 1000 units. And the interesting insight is this one, Karnataka has emerged as one of the top market in India in terms of sales of Kawasaki Ninja 250R; 100 Ninja's have been sold in this southern state.



This bike is priced at Rs. 269,000 at ex-showroom Delhi. The company is enjoying this record along with first anniversary of Bangalore Pro-biking showroom; a Ninja rally was organised to celebrate the success and first year completion.

Kawasaki is a Japan based international two-wheeler maker and it is selling its bikes in India through Bajaj Pro-biking showrooms. It has 32 showrooms 30 cities while Karnataka is having two stores at Mangalore and Bangalore.

Kawasaki Ninja 250R is equipped with a mind-blowing 249cc, DHOC, four stroke, power mill which belts out 33PS of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and generates, harnessing low torque of 22 NM at 8200 rpm. This powerful engine of the bike market it sports and classy bike. The bike is available in three basic colours like Green, Black and Blue. Out of these shades, Green is the most popular body colour among bike lovers.

Kawasaki Ninja 250R is giving fierce fight to most popular Bajaj Pulsar 220 cc and Hero Honda Karizma, in terms of engine displacement and performance.

Overwhelmed by the response to Ninja 250R, the company is going to launch its big siblings namely Kawasaki Ninja 400R, Kawasaki Ninja 650R and Kawasaki Ninja ZX14 next year.
