After making a successful debut in the Indian two-wheeler market and establishing the overwhelming flagship of Honda Motors and Scooters India Ltd., after termination of its alliance with Hero Group of India, Honda CMR 250R is going to get a new face. It is reported that HMSI is going to introduce the new modified version of its successful flagship with new color combination of three colors. It is expected that the new CMR 250R will make its appearance by the end of this month. It would be important to mention that Honda Motors had showcased the edited version of Honda CBR 250R during the last auto expo held at New Delhi this year. There are rumors that Honda has introduced this modification to take over the lead from Bajaj’s KTM 200 Duke, which has been recently launched by leading auto manufacturing company Bajaj Autos in India in an alliance with Austrian leading two wheeler KTM.

KTM 200 Duke is considered as the strong contender of Honda CBR 250R. Enriching the existing model with few more features is considered as facelift of variant by the auto manufacturing company, which in real sense is like serving an old wine in new bottle. Generally facelift is carried out to grab the attention of the customers when the product gets older by time. However, now a days auto manufacturing companies have changed this trend and now as soon as any new product is launched in market depending upon the favourable or unfavourable response companies start designing the strategies for their facelift.

Commenting on the introduction of tri-color tone in CBR 250R, Mr. Naresh Rattan, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said the production of edited version started during the mid of existing month. There are rumors that at present bike is facing decline in demand and the sales of January recorded only 140 variants sold during the month. Commenting on this, Mr. Rattan said that there is no paucity in demand of bikes and the market is growing at satisfactory speed even in worst situations.
