2012 BMW S1000RR now in India, as per order

BMW Motorrad India has launched its all new 2012 S1000RR in Indian automotive industry. Earlier BMW planned to showcase this sporty two wheeler at the 11th Edition of 2012 Auto Expo but the German auto major walked out and but did not delay in introducing the 2012 model of BMW S 1000RR. However, its still a bike available "as per order". BMW S1000RR is well known for its high speed and sharp handling across the globe. The new edition of the bike comes adorning various changes that further improves on small but essential factors of the motorcycle. The exterior of the bike remains unchanged expect the colour combinations. Evidently other than the colour, it also comes loaded with an exhaust system which will give a hint that it is a new 2012 BMW S1000RR.

The all new street fighter comes equipped with a reconfigured throttle to deliver an enhanced response with the twist reduced. The firm works hard on output power and torque figure; the new bike torque curve has been optimised as well to offer a soothing experience to rider. BMW Motorrad has integrated the Race ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System which reduces skidding on on slippery and curvy roads) and traction control system. The changes are quite a few in the bike which includes revised spring elements, smaller secondary ratio, new steering damper, newly formulated suspension geometry, forged fork bridge, etc. BMW 2012 S1000RR is rests at approx. Rs. 23 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai) and company will bring in this dynamic bike as a completely built unit.

BMW S1000RR is blessed with a powerful 999 cc engine which is capable of delivering a top power of 193 BHP at 13000 RPM and churn out 11.4 kgm of peak torque at 9750 round per meter. The bike comes pre-programmed 'Rain' mode which further enhances the utility functions of the aggressive road star.
