Honda Dream Neo OverView
The world has always complemented the vehicles manufactured by the Honda company. The company since 1959 is introducing its splendid offerings to people all over the world. It is the largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines globally, which produces 14 million engines in a year. With a joint venture with Hero, the company got the opportunity to spread its business in India. While the venture was on, these companies in collaboration were known as Hero Honda and this partnership gave the most reliable and most fuel efficient bikes of its time. Due to some mishaps, their partnership was ruined and Hero took all the fame and name under his hands and Honda was only left with a zeal to become the most privileged two wheeler manufacturer of India. After all this also, Honda never looked back and with its passion to rule the market has came up the most appreciable bikes and scooters, which make it earn its goodwill to the fullest. Honda's official name has become Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI).
HMSI has launched a few two wheelers after its partnership is over. The list of the bikes under its name are Dream Yuga, CB Twister, CB Shine, CB Unicorn, CB Unicorn Dazzler, CBR150R, CBR250R. All these bikes have put up the market shares of the company and has made it financially and morally stronger. The company has also introduced an entry level bike, which is called as Honda Dream Neo. The bike got its launching done on 17th April 2013 by the company and this is the cheapest motorcycle, the company has introduced. This bike is launched in competition with Hero Motocorp Splendor earlier known as Hero Honda Splendor, one of the cheapest motorcycles of the country. The bike has its engine taken from the former Honda Dream Yuga which is an 110 cc engine, which produces the maximum power output of 8.25bhp. The engine comes incorporated with an advanced technology, 'Honda Eco Technology', which helps the engine to enhance its power and fuel efficiency. The fuel economy of the bike is splendid enough to give an intense competition to its rivals.
Honda Dream Neo Designing
The bike looks like the former, Honda Dream Yuga but is a modified version of it. The instrument console of the bike is designed elegantly, which incorporates analog speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. The design of the bike is sleek, neat and simple. There are no fancy features in the bike to cut the cost down but whatever the bike incorporates is just perfect. The all black theme covering from the alloy wheels longing from the engine to the chain cover and to the grab rails for the pillion rider looks brilliant. The bike is lightweight, which makes it more effective and easy to maneuver in city traffic. The long front suspension looks good on the bike. The headlight with a cowl looks sporty and soothing. The long seat gives a comfortable ride to both rider and pillion. The exhaust of the bike is slim and it also boast the all black theme of the bike. The sleek fuel tank comes with amazing graphics crafted on them. The dimensions of the bike are also pleasing, the overall length is 2009 mm, width is 737 mm and height is 1074 mm. The wheelbase and ground clearance measurements of the machine are 1258 mm and 179 mm, respectively. The kerb weight of the bike is 105 Kg. The main beauty of the bike comes from its structure and its structure is built on a diamond type chassis.

Honda Dream Neo comes in six exuberant shade which enhance the beauty of the bike and the shades are as follows: Alfa red metallic, Black with Violet Strips, Midnight Blue Metallic, Black with Red stripes, Force Silver Metallic and Monsoon Grey Metallic.
Honda Dream Neo Engine And Performance
Honda Dream Neo shares the same engine that of the Honda Dream Yuga. The engine has incorporated with an advanced technology known as HET or Honda Eco Technology. This technology is invented to bring out more power and torque along with a better fuel efficiency from the mill. The engine of the commuter bike is an Air Cooled, 4 stroke, SI Engine, which has a displacement of 109cc. The mill is mated with a 4 speed constant mesh which has an all down gear shift pattern. The 4 stroke engine is capable to churn out the maximum power output of 8.25bhp which comes out at the acceleration point of 7500rpm with the maximum torque value of 8.63Nm, which comes out at the acceleration point of 5500rpm. The gearbox of the bike is associated with a multiplate, wet clutch which helps in smooth transmission of gears.
Honda Dream Neo Mileage
Honda claims that the bike, Honda Dream Neo will deliver a splendid mileage of 74 Kilometers per liter. This is possible due to the presence of Honda Eco Technology, the carburettor and the viscous air filter also enhances the performance of the engine.
Honda Dream Neo Braking And Handling
Honda Dream Neo is very lightweight, which makes its handling better. The brakes equipped to the bike are 130 mm dia drum brakes at both the wheels, which give the bike a nice support and safety. The suspensions of the bike makes the ride bump free are telescopic fork and 5 step spring loaded suspension equipped at the front and rear end, respectively. The 80/100 – 18 inches tubeless tyres of the machine enhances the handling and braking of the bike.
Honda Dream Neo Safety Features
Honda Dream Neo has a side guard which saves it when it falls. The tubeless tyres and alloy wheels gives a nice handling and the brakes equipped in them response quickly. The maintenance free battery makes the rider tension free. The 12V 35/35W headlamps embedded in the bike gives a convincing view in the dark at night. The suspension system of the bike saves from the oncoming bumps by in taking them.
