Yamaha India Registers 52 per cent Growth in June,2013

Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. has registered a growth of 52% in sales during June 2013 as compared to the corresponding period last year. The company continues to maintain an upward trend in sales on the back of its superb product line-up, the new scooter Ray for young girls and the recently launched Ray Z targeted at young boys both of which have received stupendous response and innovative on- going marketing activities to enhance customer connect.

The company sold 35,561 units in June 2013 as against 24,318 units sold in June last year in the domestic market thereby registering a domestic sales growth of 46.2%. In the Export markets the company sold 13,607 units in June 2013 as compared to 8,040 units in the same month last year achieving a growth of 69.2%. The overall sales stood at 49,168 units in June 2013 while 32,358 units were sold in June 2012, thereby registering a 52% overall growth.
