Yamaha Crux Launched with Facelift

Yamaha Bikes has always been appreciated for its powerful performance and superior look. Sustaining same track proven record Yamaha Bikes has launched the facelifted version of Yamaha Crux by introducing with slight changes meeting requirement of present demand in bike segment. Yamaha Crux price in India for modified version as announced by Yamaha Bikes is Rs 33,000.

New features integrated in Yamaha Crux include multi reflector headlamp for clear visibility while riding bike during night, it is infact noticeable change introduced in facelift version as compared to erstwhile model. Besides this front and rear fenders are equipped with chrome followed by adjustable rear shockers. The other features integrated in Yamaha Crux include 4 stroke, air cooled SOHC engine with 2 valve having displacement of 105.6cc generating power of 7.6 PS @7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 7.85 Nm @6,000 rpm with compression ratio of 9:1 followed by 49.0 x 56.0 bore and stroke. Overall dimensional measurement of Yamaha Crux are 2,000mm length x 735mm width and x 1,075mm height.

Other features embedded in modified Yamaha Crux are Primary / Secondary reduction ratio measuring 3.722 / 3.143, Wet multi-plate coil spring for clutch type, 4 speed constant mesh transmission. The measurement of front and rear tyres have measurement of 2.50 x 18? 4PR / 2.75 x 18? 6PR. Front brake is supported by drum of 130 mm Dia whereas rear brake is also supported by drum of 130 mm Dia. Engine has capacity of filling with 1 litre engine oil with fuel tank of 11 litres. Crux is powered by battery of 12V-2.5Ah. With seat height of 780mm, and wheelbase of 1260 mm it has minimum ground clearance of 160 mm.
With facelift version of Yamaha Crux it can be said that Yamaha Bikes shall be undoubtedly able to carry success achieved with launch of Yamaha Gladiator in 2006. It would be also worth mentioning here that Yamaha FZ16 and Yamaha R15 have played a major role in pushing sales of Yamaha Bikes in Indian two wheeler market.
