TVS Motors, India based, Number third largest two wheeler maker and provider in domestic market has tie uped with famous cricketer Virat to promote Sport series bikes. Now this star is new brand Ambassador for the all the Sport series of TVS bikes.

 

The company stated that Virat Kohli will make advertise and release TVS Sport series new bikes in the market. For this work the company to pay big money to the Cricket Star. On the other hand Mahindra Singh Dhoni is TVS Motors brand ambassador. Since a long time the company choosing cricketers as a brand ambassador the company.

 

As all known that TVS Motors is Chennai based two wheeler maker company that providing reliable and value for money bikes in India. It also exports bikes to India's neighbourhood countries. The TVS Star is the flag and most popular bike model by the company that available in two variants such as TVS Star and TVS Star Sport. Both the variants of the bike getting buzz response by customers. This model of the bike has compete with Hero Honda CD Deluxe, Honda Twister, Yamaha Crux and Yamaha YBR, Bajaj Platina etc bikes.

 

The new variant of TVS Star is very appealing that has new features such as dual tone colours, a LED tail lamp cluster, black handle bar and equipped with electric start. It is available with price tag of Rs. 38,600 (ex-showroom Delhi).

 

Right now TVS Motors includes 100cc to 180cc engine bikes in its portfolio.  TVS Apache RTR 180 is the Top and flagship model by the company which has compete with Bajaj Pulsar 180 and Hero Honda Karizma. Now the company is mulling over to launch a 250cc bike before the end of this year. The company also having good market share in scooter segment and TVS Scooty Streak and TVS Scooty Tenz is popular scooters.

 

TVS Motors is reporting good growth in the sales. It reported a 24 per cent jump in sales during February 2011 to 1,77,412 units as compare to 1,42,676 units sold in the same period of the year 2010.
