There are already some reports saying that Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) is planning to launch a new 125cc motorcycle soon. A camouflaged test mule of the bike was also spied earlier and now, once again it has been spotted testing uncamouflaged. It hints that the bike could be introduced any time soon alongside the existing CB Shine.

The bike will come with the same 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is already doing duty on the CB Shine. We are not expecting any change in the performance figures of the motor and it will continue to deliver 10.57bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 10.30Nm.

The upcoming 125cc Honda seems to be based on the similar technology that is used in Shine. However, styling of the upcoming motorcycle is much sportier than the existing one and it also gets some new equipment like more attractive alloy wheels.

Standard features of the upcoming Honda will be telescopic front forks, spring loaded adjustable rear shock absorbers, analog-digital console, dual drum brakes, electric start, alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Optional features will include front disc brake and CBS (Combi Brake System).

The upcoming 125cc Honda bike could be priced slightly higher than the CB Shine, however, its competitors will remain the same.
