Royal Enfield Registers 47 percent growth

Royal Enfield, the most enthusiastic Indian motorcycle brand has registered a phenomenal overall sales growth of 47 percent in the month of October, 2014. The company sold out 26,309 units of motorcycles in the respective month against the 17,659 units in the corresponding month last year. In the domestic market, RE sold 25510 units in October, 2014, registering a growth of 47 percent when compared to the 17306 units of the same duration in 2013. Export growth stood at 50 percent with 529 units against 353 units sold in the October of 2014 and 2013 respectively.

Apart from the financial growth, the company is also increasing customer engagement and promotional activities like rides, events and exhibitions not only in India but across the world. Here are the details for some of the events-

Royal Enfield at INTERMOT, Cologne, Germany

Royal Enfield Continental GT 535cc café racer made its debut at INTERMOT – world’s biggest motorcycle, scooter and e-bike fair, held biennially at Cologne, Germany. Royal Enfield also displayed the new accessories collection inspired by the despatch riders from the Great Wars. Present at the Royal Enfield pavilion were Classic Desert Storm, Classic Chrome, Classic Battle Green and the Bullet 500 motorcycles. The presence of Royal Enfield at INTERMOT created excitement amongst the classic motorcycle loving customers and enthusiasts in Germany.

Royal Enfield Tour of Nepal 2014

The third edition of Royal Enfield Tour of Nepal 2014 saw 30 riders from India participating in this epic journey covering 2200 kms over 14 days. The Tour of Nepal was flagged off on 6th October 2014 from Lucknow and concluded on 20th October, with the riders riding back to Lucknow from Nepal.  With an average elevation of 2800 mts, locked away in the mountainous vastness of the Himalayas, Nepal lived up to its promise of being an adventure of a lifetime. Motoring through some of the most beautiful roads in the Land of the mighty Everest, this ride to Buddha’s mystical land and the land of the legendary Gorkha warriors, was a one of a kind journey for the riders.

Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2014

Rider Mania, the ultimate annual motorcycling festival organised by Royal Enfield is all set to make Goa abuzz with the familiar sound of Royal Enfield motorcycles from 21st - 23rd November 2014 at Vagator. With more than 5000 riders expected to join three days of music, mirth and riding skills, Rider Mania will host a score of Royal Enfield of fans and enthusiasts making it a memorable weekend for the motorcycling community in India. Over the years, Rider Mania has become an annual pilgrimage for Royal Enfield fans and customers. Participants across the country, ride down to Goa to attend this unique motorcycling festival that features various motorcycle competitions and and entertainment. Rider Mania aims at promoting biker camaraderie and providing the perfect platform to showcase one’s passion for motorcycling and the Royal Enfield brand.

Royal Enfield at Eicma Motorcycle exhibition

Royal Enfield will be present at the Eicma Motorcycle Exhibition at Milan in Italy from November 04- 09.  Royal Enfield will be displaying the new range of apparel and accessories inspired by the despatch riders of the Great Wars. Also will be on display is the Continental GT 535cc café racer along with Classic Desert Storm, Classic Chrome, Classic Battle Green and the Bullet 500 motorcycles. Eicma is one of Italy’s biggest motorcycle shows and draws almost half a million visitors every year.

Royal Enfield at Motorcycle Live 2014

Royal Enfield will be present at Motorcycle Live 2014 held at National Exhibition Centre (NEC) at Birmingham, UK from November 22nd to 30th. Motorcycle Live is the largest motorcycle show in UK held annually. This year, Royal Enfield will be displaying their new apparel and accessories collection inspired by despatch riders. Also will be on display will be the Continental GT 535cc café racer motorcycle.

Royal Enfield at Colombia Motorshow 2014

Royal Enfield will be participating at the Colombia Motor show held in Bogota from November 19th to November 30th. Royal Enfield will be displaying their current range of apparel and accessories and motorcycles that are presently available in Colombia. The Colombia Motor show is one of the largest automobile exhibitions in not only in Colombia but also in the South American continent.
