Honda unveils CBR 250R Police Model Design at Security Expo 2013

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has unveiled its Police Model Design of CBR 250R Motorcycle, specially designed for police patrolling purpose at the 16th Indian International Security Expo 2013. HMSI participated in the 4 day long exciting Security Expo, in partnership with “Grand” IJS Electronics (Manufacturer of Emergency Vehicles Warning Products). Started on September 26th, the Expo was organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Police Model Design CBR 250R Motorcycle has been designed as a potential police patrolling vehicle which can be used by police officers to assist with their duties in patrolling and responding to incidents. It will allow officers to reach the scene of an incident quickly and to patrol an area while providing a high visibility at night.

The customized Honda CBR 250R Police Model is equipped with high efficiency LED lights which consume less battery, red-blue traditional police beacon lights, collapsible pole lights for high visibility and torch light which will allow the police officers to read and write at night. The bike also comes fitted with a blaring police siren with P.A System, which has a special push to talk button to switch to microphone, when required and a utility box which allows the officer to carry important documents during patrolling. With the Police Model Design CBR 250R Honda also provides a specially designed helmet fitting with a hands free microphone which helps the police officer to address the public while riding the bike with ease.

Since its introduction in March 2011, CBR 250R has been winning the hearts of Indian biking enthusiasts with its economy and extreme versatility. CBR 250R’s liquid-cooled 250cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve single-cylinder DOHC engine delivers astonishing 19.5Kw (26BHP) power and 22.9 Nm torque. The PGM-FI technology (enhances performance and fuel efficiency), aerodynamic style and global design inspired by Honda’s iconic CBR 1000RR Fireblade and VFR 1200F make CBR 250R an ideal ride option.
