Based on the platform of CBR300R, Honda CB300F gets similar body work minus the headlamp and fairing. It gets a masculine fuel tank with sleek rear panels and a split pattern seat. The headlamps look inspired from the CB500F but misses on the lamp positioning.

Powering the Honda CB300F is the same 286cc engine powering the CBR300R. It has been mated with a six-speed gearbox and churns out 30.4bhp of maximum power along with a peak torque of 27.4Nm. Other technical specs and features of the bike like 5-spoke alloys, tyres, suspensions and brakes are similar to the outgoing CBR250R in India.
