While everyone is appreciating the small 399cc Ducati Scrambler Sixty2, the company silently introduced a pedal and electric powered bicycle under the same brand name. The product has been developed in collaboration with Italwin, an Italian brand which specialises in making pedal assisted bicycles.

Apart from the rider’s effort, Ducati Fat E-Bike Scrambler can be run using its 250 watt, 3-phase, brushless electric motor which is capable of giving it a top speed of 25kmph. Powering the unit is a 400Ah Lithium-ion battery that weighs just 2.5 kg, takes 6 hours to charge and gives it a range of 50 kms.

The bike has been designed as a dual purpose machine, which can be used for comfortable city riding as well as a mountain bike. It features fat 4” tyres with compatibility to run over both hard and loose surfaces, and gets disc brakes for better stopping power.

The Ducati Fat E-Bike Scrambler has an aluminium frame, which helps it to maintain an overall weight of 26 kg. The bike gets a 24 gears (8x3) setup by Shimano to control torque at the rear wheel and its appearance is inspired by Scrambler Urban Enduro.
