Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 will launch soon

The Italy based, Piaggio Group and owner of Aprilia motorcycles has made the announcement of its two new flagship bike models for Indian market and upcoming bikes are namely Aprilia RSV4 and Aprilia Tuono V4. Both the models belongs to superbike segment and will be launched in the year of 2011. Both the bike models will fall between price range of Rs. 15 to 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the bikes are reported to come via CBU route that indicate high pricing.



Piaggio Group is the Italian Two and three-wheeler manufacturer which has good market share in Indian three-wheeler market. Now the company has decided to enter in to  Scooter and bike market with the launch of Vespa LX 125cc scooter, Aprilia RSV4 and the Aprilia Tuono V4 superbikes. The company is going to launch a dealership in Pune very soon to pump the bike and scooters.

Aprilia RSV4 has been most awaited streetfighter bike in India since the announcement of the launch. The bike comes loaded with a water cooled, 999cc, 65° V4 engine that develops 180 HP and 115 Nm of torque. And RSV4 Factory APRC SE is the first Aprilia bike that comes with the Aprilia Quick Shift as standard. The bike will compete with Honda CBR 1000RR.

Another upcoming naked and streetfighter bike is Aprilia Tuono V4. It has been loaded with 1000cc engine that offers maximum power of 102 kW (139 HP) and top torque of 10.9 kgm at only 8,500 rpm. This is the most powerful bike in the naked bike segment. The bike has dynamic air intake located nose fairing which is very attractive. It has exclusive components, quality, technology and finish.

Aprilia to provide the APRC package with the bikes which includes ATC traction control (Aprilia Traction Control), AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control), AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift) and ALC (Aprilia Launch Control). With these protection tool kits, Aprilia bikes to make big hype in the Indian market. While Vespa LX 125 is claimed to be here in year 2012.
