Recently, we reported the soft launch of Hero Karizma R and ZMR. Now the company has updated its website with the official details of these new bikes, which tells about their specifications and features. The company has priced the new Karizma R and ZMR at Rs. Rs 85,559 and Rs 1,07,000 (ex-showroom Mumbai) respectively.

The new features added to the bikes are supersport inspired front fairings with dual dynamic headlamps and LED DRLs, more muscular fuel tank, split seat, split rear grab rail, LED tail lamp and wider rear tubeless tyre. However, Other features of the bikes including front and rear suspension, brakes, wheels and instrument console remains similar to the previous models.

Both the new bikes continue to take power from the 223cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, mated with a 5-speed gearbox. However, the new versions deliver a better performance with an advanced tuning. Using carburetted type fuel system, 2014 Karizma R gives 19.2bhp of maximum power along with a peak torque of 19.35Nm, while the figures for 2014 Karizma ZMR stands at 20bhp and 19.7Nm respectively, using Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) and oil cooler technologies.

Differences in the R and ZMR variants still remains similar as the major one comes with the fairing. Karizma R comes with a semi fairing style while the Karizma ZMR gets a full body fairing with more improved aerodynamics, which also covers the engine from both sides. Both the bikes features a multi-functional instrument console, however, the R version gets a combination of digital and analog type gauges, while the ZMR version gets a fully-digital one. Exhaust pipes of the bikes are also identical, however, the R comes a golden finish under the safely plates of the pipe, while ZMR gets matte black finish on the part.

The new Karizma R is available in 5 attractive colour options and the new Karizma ZMR comes with only 3 colour options. Red, Black and White are common in both the models, while the R version also gets Yellow and Grey colour options.
