VMAX Expert Review

Keeping in mind the emotions of the cruiser bike lovers across the globe, Yamaha Motors introduced its powerful motorcycle VMAX to cater their needs. The bike has shown a decent sales records to the company and proved its worth in almost every aspect of motorcycling. The bike is powered by a liquid-cooled, four-valve, V-type four cylinder engine that displaces 1,679cc and generates a breathtaking power of 197.4bhp at 9,000rpm with a peak torque of 166.8Nm at 6,500rpm. The fuel injected mill is mated to a five-speed constant mesh transmission system and uses wet multiple plate clutch to transmit the power.

Built on a diamond-shaped aluminium frame, the bike is dynamically a treat for anyone who craves for a true supersports machine. The front profile gets a rounded headlamp which is fitted in a tilted fashion. The fuel tank is crafted neatly and comes integrated with edgy cowls on either sides that make it look even more muscular. The bike further boasts a sporty step-up seat that looks ravishing and stunning.

Coming to the rear end, the bike has an astonishing and curvy rear side panels that end up holding a pure LED tail lamp strip along with a stylish fender. The devil has body dimensions of 2,395mm x 820mm x 1,190mm (LxWxH) that blesses it with a meaner character. With a fuel tank of 15 liter capacity, the bike covers a decent range without frequent refuelling.

The instrument cluster of the bike is clear and informative that comes with a digital speedometer, twin tripmeters, fuel gauge and analogue tachometer. Some more useful elements also make their presence like clock, transmission gear position display, coolant temperature and stopwatch.ย
