Both electric and petrol are better than the other in certain ways. You may consider below-mentioned points to choose one. Pros for Petrol: - Better power.- Fuel stations are easily available. - Service centers are easily available. Cons for Petrol: - Pollution. - Petrol is getting costly. Pros for Electric: - Electric scooters are highly economical compared to their petrol counterparts.- Electric scooters are totally pollution-free.- Easy and economical to maintain. Cons for electric: - Less service availability and charging stations. - E-bikes may not have the same life as a petrol vehicle because motors may not last as long as engines. However, motors are replaceable. Both the scooters are of different power segments. The Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. While the Honda Activa in its 6G avatar comes close to the Jupiter in terms of features, the Jupiter still has the edge when it comes to pricing. We feel that TVS could have equipped the Jupiter with more features to offset the inevitable price hike. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale. On the other hand, Yamaha Ray ZR would be better pico only if you want sporty looks and a bit better power performance. You may compare both the scooters accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

Hi, I also wanted to buy an electric Scooty but they have a limitation of approx 70-80 kms on a single charge. The price is too high and usability is low. I have purchased Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally and am happy with its performance. Ride is very comfortable with 50 kmpl and power is good. I had to travel 90 km one day for work and I realised that e-scooty is not a workable solution, also the price is too high for e-Scooty.
