    Q.

I am 6 feet tall, I want a bike with good performance, handling, decent features while being fuel efficient? Does the lack of 6th gear affects the highway cruising speed of Apache RTR 200 & 160? I am confused between RTR 200, MT 15 AND R15 but R15 it is too committed to be practical daily bike?

As per your requirements, we'd suggest you to opt for the Yamaha MT 15 or the Apache RTR 200 4V. A naked version of the dynamic Yamaha R15 sounds like a fantastic proposition. On those lines, the MT-15 looks quite appealing. It has a gem of a motor and its light front end and flickable chassis make it a fantastic bike for city use. On the other hand, the Apache RTR has come a long way -- from being just another entry-level performance bike to almost TVS’s crown jewel. You have a better spread of power throughout the rev range (that makes it more usable in every situation) and an adjustable suspension setup that can be tweaked for different riders. It brakes and handles much better than the older model too. It’s truly an enjoyable bike that’ll keep you engaged, no matter how experienced a rider you are. While the lack of 6th cog can be felt on highways, it can sit between 80-90kmph without breaking a sweat, which certainly helps its highway efficiency. For a better understanding of performance and compatibility, we'd suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for [dealership@https://www.bikedekho.com/showrooms

Yamaha MT-15 features an all-LED headlamp and tail lamp, whereas the indicators are bulbs. The negative LCD instrument cluster shows the gear position, shift light, and mileage indicator, apart from the other run-of-the-mill information and tell-tale lights. The motorcycle also gets an engine cut-off feature integrated into the side stand but misses out on Bluetooth connectivity. As for the launch of the dual-channel ABS variant, there's no official update from the brand's end. Stay tuned for further updates.

    Q.

    Mt15 seat length

    • Bikedekho experts
    • on 25 Apr 2021

The seat length has not been shared by the brand and moreover, the seat height of the Yamaha MT-15 is 810mm. The contour along with the firm cushioning does make the seat uncomfortable for long rides. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision.
