I thought FZ-S was as powerful as it looks but after riding it I didn't feel so. Though I still feel great when I ride it as it has a very good riding position and the low seat height makes me quite confident. The instrument cluster is designed nicely and its muscular tank is simply adorable. The naked monster is simply the perfect stunt motorcycle in country. Pop stoppies or wheelies, it's so easy and effortless. However, the mileage of the bike is a real concern, it does not even matches my satisfactory level. I receive an average of around 40kmpl even after the new Blue Core technology.
Handling of the bike is better than I thought and the credit goes to the 140mm wide rear radial tyre. Yamaha might have not designed this bike to be a mileage freak but it has surely given the bike the features to attract and keep the game on. I really feel that the manufacturer could have applied a rear disc brake so that the braking becomes more efficient and stronger. The transmissions are very smooth, haven’t had any problem yet. I am about to get my bike for the second service soon.
