Yes, you may travel with Yamaha FZ-FI V3 in a hilly area. But we wouldn't recommend it because, with a kerb weight of 135kg and an engine of 149cc 2-valve single-cylinder engine, you may face difficulty. There are other risks also such as overheating etc. Though the bike will do the job nicely, long-term usage over such terrains might hamper engine health. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

As per your requirement, we would suggest you to go with Yamaha FZS-FI V3. In nearly every aspect, except maybe ergonomics and braking, the Yamaha FZS-FI v3.0 fails to impress. While its motor offers better fuel efficiency compared to the previous-gen model, it lacks grunt. You may also consider TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, The RTR 160 4V offers more performance, better features, is more engaging to ride, and easier on the pocket as well. A better value for money proposition. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. FZ is an iconic brand and many motorcyclists have been brought up well from its cradle. This popularity served more concern to the company while planning for its BS-VI variant. BS6 Yamaha FZ-FI V3 gets an updated BS6 motor with revised power outputs. The new motor delivers 12.4PS at 7250rpm — 0.8PS less than the BS4 FZ-FI models. However, its 13.6Nm at 5500rpm torque output is 0.8Nm more than before. Both peak power and torque outputs are delivered at lower rpm than before. The updates make it better to ride in the city. It offers comfortable ergonomics and good handling too. It still delivers better fuel efficiency compared to other 160s. You could save yourself a couple of thousand bucks by going for the regular FZ-FI v3.0 over the FZS. The Yamaha FZS FI goes up against the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Hero Xtreme 160R, and the Suzuki Gixxer. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
