About Yamaha Bikes
in 1985. In 2001, the brand became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yamaha Japan. Yamaha has three manufacturing plants in the country, with one factory at Surajpur, Uttar Pradesh, while the other two are located in Faridabad, Haryana, and Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, respectively. These plants manufacture two-wheelers for both domestic and export markets. Yamaha recently launched the naked iteration of the YZF-R15 Version 3.0, called the MT-15. Apart from the MT-15, Yamaha also has a variety of motorcycles starting from scooters like the Fascino to superbikes like the YZF-R1. Going forward, expect Yamaha to launch the NMax 155 Scooters, XSR155 Sports Naked Bikes and the 2020 MT 03 Sports Naked Bikes in the Indian market.
