The Zontes ZT853-R was recently unveiled at EICMA and is the brand’s new naked motorcycle.

It has an aggressive look with sharp lines, there is full LED lighting, aerodynamic winglets and carbon fibre elements as well.

It is built on a new aluminium frame weighing just 10 kg, paired to a single-sided swingarm.

Powering the ZT853-R is a new 847 cc three-cylinder engine, which makes 150 PS at 12,500 rpm and 90 Nm torque at 9,000 rpm.

Zontes says that it does 0-100 kmph in 2.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 280 kmph.

The electronics package includes a six-axis IMU, traction control, cornering ABS, a ride-by-wire, launch control and 4-level wheelies control.

There is also a TFT cluster with connectivity for navigation, and it also gets a bi-directional quickshifter and cruise control.

For connectivity it features the Intelligent Control System 4.0 with NFC unlocking, the Zontes 2.0 app, which shows tyre pressure and vehicle location.

It also gets fully adjustable Kayaba suspension at both ends, 115 mm of travel at the front, and a monoshock with 58 mm of travel.
