Yamaha has unveiled a special 70th Anniversary Edition of the YZF-R25 in Japan

It is available in a special white paint scheme with sporty red graphics

It gets blacked-out underpinnings along with a golden-coloured inverted fork

The R25 gets the latest R-series design with an LED projector headlight and sporty LED DRLs

Powering the bike is a 249cc parallel-twin engine, making 35 PS and 23 Nm

It is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch that prevents rear-wheel locking while downshifting aggressively

The bike gets a diamond-tube frame, an inverted fork, and a monoshock

It rides on 17-inch wheels and gets a 298 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear

It gets an LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity. The bike also gets a USB Type-C port for added convenience
