This blue livery is inspired by the former French Grand Prix racer Christian Sarron’s Yamaha YZR500 from the 1980s.
The bike gets a YZR Grand Prix racing bike-inspired front bikini fairing and boxier pillion seat cowl.
The bike is painted in a dark blue base paint with light blue colour blocks along the fuel tank and side fairings.
A yellow race number square is painted at the front and on both sides of the rear side panels.
Legend Blue is the fourth colour to join the XSR900 GP lineup, alongside Legend Yellow, Legend Red and Power Grey.
Apart from these cosmetic changes, it remains mechanically the same, retaining its 890 cc, 3-cylinder engine making 119 PS and 93 Nm.
It gets a 5-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, quickshifter and Yamaha R1-derived 6-axis IMU.
The suspension setup is fully adjustable, and it gets clip-on handlebars mounted above the top yoke for slightly relaxed riding posture.
Yamaha hasn't revealed the price or launch timeline of the bike, and the bike is unlikely to make its way to India anytime soon.
