Yamaha has launched the Cygnus XR 155 70th Anniversary Edition in Taiwan.

The scooter is limited to only 1,200 units and is priced at TWD 116,500 (approximately Rs 3.47 lakh).
The design takes inspiration from Yamaha’s XMAX scooter, and the colour from the 1999 Yamaha YZF-R7.
The special edition graphics include white and red livery, a golden Yamaha logo below the headlight and a ‘70th Anniversary Limited Edition’ sticker.
The Cygnus is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled engine similar to the Yamaha Aerox 155 but produces 14.7 PS and 13.73 Nm, which is less than that of the Aerox.
Its feature-list includes a keyless ignition, switchable white/yellow projector headlights, 27-litre boot space and an LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity.

The scooter has 12-inch wheels with a 110 section tyre at the front and 130-section at the rear.
Braking is handled by a 267 mm front and 230 mm rear disc, and suspension duties are taken care of by a telescopic front fork and preload-adjustable twin rear shocks.
