Yamaha recently introduced a new, 70th anniversary edition of the XSR 155 in Indonesia, this new paint scheme also pays homage to the brand’s racing heritage.

The livery is inspired by Yamaha’s iconic race machines from the 1990s, like the YZF-R7. It gets a gloss red-and-white two-tone, along with sporty looking golden coloured inverted fork.

This is by far the most striking colour option available for this neo-retro bike, and we hope that Yamaha launches it in India soon.

Other than this, the Yamaha XSR155 is available in three more colour options to choose from: Metallic Brown, Metallic Black and Matte Silver.

In the Metallic Brown paint scheme, the XSR 155 looks quite premium, coupled with the subtle looking grey graphics, and all-black inverted fork.

The bike is also available in a Metallic Black colour option, which gives the XSR a stealthy, all-black vibe, and to complement this shade, the bike also gets golden-coloured fork, and Yamaha branding.

Amongst these colour options, the Matte Silver shade looks similar to the Metallic Grey shade we get in India.

The colour options available for the Indian-spec XSR 155, are a bit more funky, while the shades available for the Indonesian model follow a more minimalistic and premium vibe.

Other than the Matte Silver shade, we think Yamaha should introduce all the other colour options for the India-spec version as well. Read more about the Yamaha XSR 155.
