Its name, meaning "Alien" in Italian, reflects the motorcycle’s unconventional styling and engineering philosophy.
Development took nine years and 57 prototypes before the first customer bike was delivered in Dubai.
Power comes from Ducati’s 1,285cc Superquadro V-twin, producing a claimed 202PS and 144Nm.
Weighing just 171kg (without fuel), the Alyen pairs superbike performance with an exceptionally light chassis.
Its standout feature is the Hydraulic Bearing Wired Steering System, replacing traditional steering linkages with aerospace-grade cables.
The hub-centre steering design separates braking and suspension forces, unlike conventional telescopic fork setups.
Magnesium frame components, carbon-fibre bodywork, and Rotobox wheels underline the bike’s exotic construction.
Öhlins TTX40 monoshocks and a distinctive twin-pivot suspension system further reinforce its unconventional engineering.
Production will be limited to just 20 units, making the Alyen 998 one of the rarest hyperbikes ever built.
