Ultraviolette has launched a new electric motorcycle, called the X-47 Crossover. It is priced from Rs 2,49,000 (introductory ex-showroom)

The bike gets a high-mounted front fender, a short windshield, knuckle guards, and a long single-piece seat for rugged looks.

It is available in four different colour schemes: Turbo Red, Cosmic Black, Stellar White and Desert Wing. The Desert Wing is an exclusive colour scheme, sold as a special edition variant

The Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover is available in 3 variants: Original, Recon, and Desert Wing. It is offered with 2 battery pack options: 7.1kWh (Original) and 10.3kWh (Recon & Desert Wing)

With the 7.1kWh battery pack, the bike has a claimed range of 211km, while the 10.3kWh battery pack variant has a claimed range of 323km, both IDC (Indian Driving Conditions)

It is driven by an electric motor with 30kW peak power output and 100Nm of peak torque. It has a claimed 0 to 60kmph acceleration time of just 2.7 seconds.

The bike gets a 41mm inverted fork and a monoshock, both having 170mm of wheel travel and preload adjustability.

It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels, with a 110-section tyre at the front and a 150-section at the rear, both with a block pattern tread. It has a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS as standard

Standard features include a TFT console and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). The top-end Recon variant gets a secondary display for the front and rear cameras it has.

It also gets lot of riding aids like 3 riding modes (Glide, Combat And Ballistic), a 4-level traction control system, 9 levels of regenerative braking, hill-hold assist, and dynamic stability control, that make it that much safer

Also, the bike has 200mm ground clearance, a kerb weight of 197kg (Original) / 208kg (Recon & Desert Wing) and a seat height of 820mm.
